Welcome to my blog!  I'm so excited that you have stopped by and even more excited that you cared enough to check out the about me page to see who this crazy girl is!

So, who is this so-called "feminist run amok"?  It's me!  Pepper!  I'm a lawyer by day and a super crafty maven by night.  I originally hail from Salt Lake City but I now live in Boston with my awesome boyfriend, Eric, and my adorable kitty cat, Roxy.

Were you expecting this blog to be about feminism, only to find out that it is about some crazy crafty-lawyer-cat-lady?  I hope you're not too disappointed.  I got the nickname "feminist run amok" back in the days when I was a big activist and someone slammed me in the public forum of the Salt Lake Tribune for my feminism run amok.  This is probably the most hilarious thing that has ever happened to me and I proudly adopted the name for my blog.  Anyway, I'm still a feminist, though not as into the activism piece as I used to be.  These days I tend to run amok with glitter more often than protest signs, but I still care deeply about the feminism and I think that embracing traditionally feminine crafts, such as knitting, is actually a pretty cool way to connect with other women, in a deep-rooted historical sense.  That's feministy for sure.
